Students at Crothersville Community Schools are seen as valued individuals who have the right to equal opportunities in developing individual abilities. Teachers use a variety of teaching strategies to address various learning styles as well as engage in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching. Students are encouraged to participate in extra-curricular activities to broaden their learning experience. TRANSFER STUDENT INFORMATION
Crothersville Community Schools will accept transfer students for the 2014/2015 school year from June 1, 2014 through September 10, 2014 and once again at the start of the second semester from January 1, 2015 through February 9, 2015.
The parents of students desiring to attend Crothersville Community Schools should contact either the Jr.-Sr. High School office (793-2051) or the Elementary office (793-2622) for additional information regarding a transfer
Crothersville Elementary has earned a Four Star rating from the Indiana Department of Education. To become a Four Star School, the elementary performed in the top 25% of schools in the state in math and English on the ISTEP+. In addition, the school met Adequate Yearly Progress under the federal "No Child Left Behind Act."
